Cappadocia Workshops grows out of Istanbul Workshops—a community that began with small, hands-on sessions in the city’s studios and streets. We carry that same spirit east: slower mornings, good light, simple tools, and a focus on craft over spectacle.
Every retreat is designed by photographers for photographers: practical prompts, thoughtful critiques, and time to refine your eye in a landscape that rewards patience.
Cappadocia is a place of making — stone houses, cave ateliers, coffee traditions, and markets full of materials and stories. We bring our Istanbul Workshops approach here: slow sessions, simple tools, and craft you can carry.
Every workshop is designed to be welcoming and practical: choose your pattern, blend your notes, brew and read the cup — guided by friendly instructors.
Design and assemble a traditional mosaic lamp with glass tesserae and guided patterns. Learn setting, grouting, and finishing — leave with your own lamp.
Blend a signature scent from premium notes while learning fragrance families and composition. Bottle your own perfume to take home.
Brew cezve coffee and learn the ritual of reading the cup’s patterns. Culture, technique, and the stories we tell around the table.
